External Training Opportunities

 

Sensory Surgery – led by a specialist paediatric occupational therapist, through group sessions, aimed at teachers in secondary and primary schools,  to work together when faced with an  adoptive child’s sensory challenges.   These sessions are organised by Adoption East Midlands and Nottinghamshire County Council.    Dates for the autumn term 25 are now available.   For more details and to book a place click here

Sensory Processing & Trauma & Attachment training for teachers – two virtual sessions on each area are available in the autumn term 2025 to provide teachers with an insight into senses and their influences on a child’s behaviour and function.    These sessions are organised by Adoption East Midlands and Health Adoption East Midlands.  For more details and to book a place click here

Virtual Co-Production Groups – hosted by Adoption East Midlands Peers4Peers Co-Production Groups is a collaborative space for people to meet and talk about adoption issues and creative services that work for everyone involved.   For more details and to book a place click here

Educational Workshops – hosted by Adoption East Midlands their workshops are designed to create a collaborative spare for adopted to receive pertinent details relating to the educational needs of their young people.  There are workshops covering four areas.   For more details click here

Solution Circles  – hosted by The Education on TRACK Team each session is 1.5 hours.  Two education support workers will take the role of leading the solution circles and scribing the thoughts and reflections of the group.   For more details and to book a place click here
