Additional funding  requests

The Nottingham City Virtual School understands that some children require additional educational interventions and support. Therefore, as a Virtual School we provide schools with an opportunity to apply for additional funding over and above the £300 termly allocation.    Schools can make an additional funding request in the same way in which termly PPP is made.

If schools wish to request more than £300 they must select ‘Request Additional PP+’ from the drop down option on the ePEP, this enables the Virtual School Head to differentiate between requests for the termly allocation and additional funding requests.  Funding for additional funding requests are from the annual PPP Grant from the DfE. Please see table below for PPP amounts and application windows:

Any applications received after 1st April 2025 relating to the 2024/2025 financial year cannot be considered under the DFE’s PPP terms of grant.
